The idea for Room 2’s class basket came from the materials we see in the classrooms, for example, the pushpin maps in the 3-6 program or the walls in the 6-9 classrooms where the children learn about the parts of the world that their ancestors came from.
Each continent has its own uniqueness and they all encourage us to travel and explore the world. This basket is ready for you to get a glimpse of South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. We hope you have an enjoyable journey!
“The World is your Picnic Basket”
Enjoy a taste from each of the continents (except Antarctica) as you picnic around the islands. A little sweet, a little savory, a little spicy and lots of deliciousness. A picnic blanket and picnic basket customized by the Terrace Class children, ages 3-6, sets the stage. A pop up tent keeps everyone cool and provides a quiet space for naptime. Enjoy!
